About Me
MY BACKGROUND
I’m Renae Moch, a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) student, public health leader, and lifelong advocate for healthier communities. With nearly two decades of experience, I focus on strengthening systems that promote wellness, prevent disease, and protect the most vulnerable. I currently serve as Public Health Director in Bismarck, North Dakota, where I lead comprehensive programs and partnerships to support community health. My passion lies in translating policy into practice and developing community-focused solutions to address complex public health challenges.
As a board-certified Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE), I bring operational expertise and strategic leadership to every role I take on. My work has been recognized with honors such as the 2023 Excellence in Instruction: Healthcare Leader Award, the 2022 North Dakota Medical Association Friend of Medicine Award, the 2021 North Dakota Women’s Network Woman of the Year Award, and the 2021 Healthcare Hero of the Year Award.
Beyond my day-to-day role, I’ve served on national and state boards including the National Association of County & City Health Officials (NACCHO) and the North Dakota Public Health Association (NDPHA), helping shape the future of public health at local, state, and federal levels.
Whether leading emergency response efforts, advocating for fair and accessible health services, or mentoring the next generation of public health professionals, my goal is always the same: to help build healthier, stronger, and more connected communities.
